Hey, I want to get my hair white. I have shoulder length curly hair, do you think it will damage it bad/there will be a significant change in texture? Also if I chose to get it professionally could you give me an estimate of what it would cost? (If it effects it at all my hair is currently dyed dark blonde)
Since your hair is already a shade of blonde, it should only take you one or two bleaches to get it platinum, which is relatively easy to do on your own but can be a bit damaging. Having it lightened professionally can cost anywhere between $40-$100 per visit depending on where you live and where you get it done. I don’t think you’ll see a huge change in texture, but you might have some breakage or it may frizz a little, so make sure to use products to help your hair along the way like deep conditioners, oil treatments, and heat protectant.
One you get your hair an even shade of platinum blonde, all you need to do is tone it with purple shampoo and it’ll be white!
